Preliminary Budget
Value of Time Investment
Your team’s time is a valuable investment in the event. If you use it wisely and focus on improvement of skills or development of new abilities you can capitalize on this component.
How much is the time allocated to the event worth?
Opportunity Cost if you miss the chance for Growth & Development
Each time your team comes together and you pay for their time, meals, transportation, venue or other items as well as a team event, the additional investment in poweful outcomes always pays off massively.
For example. If you have a sales team, how much more will they sell if they learn new skills (or what new sales will you miss out on if you settle for a less powerful program)?
Value of Achieving your Goals:
What will it mean to you when you achieve the goals listed several pages back in terms of financial and other beneficial results at your organization?
What is the appropriate amount to invest in a team event?
It depends on the skills, tools & and results that will come as a result.
The more powerful the results, the larger the appropriate budget.
